Week recap 🙌

This week we focused on the last S in SAVERS, Scribble.

We spoke about the power of writing things down, getting things out of your head, and being intentional with your goals.

One of the activities was writing a letter to someone who needs to hear something from you.

Champions write it down. Everyone else just thinks about it.

Another great week with our young people. ❤️

A big thank you to Wenty Leagues and Club Auburn for supporting Talk Your Walk with grant funding 🙌

Tutere was there to represent the team and receive the funding on our behalf.

This support will help us keep doing what we do, creating spaces for young people to connect, grow, and back themselves.

A special day for TYW! ❤️

Today, our boys faced off for the first time in the UK Super League, and it was truly Special. They’re not just representing our family name, they’re living out the very reason why Talk Your Walk is here.

Helping our children chase their dreams has been an amazing journey. It’s crazy to watch them share the field, both stepping into their dreams as professional rugby players, just like their dads did before them. What makes this experience even more rewarding is seeing them learn from our journeys . They’re taking the lessons we’ve passed down and applying them to their own paths, which is truly inspiring.

Talk Your Walk starts at home first. If we can’t guide our own kids and instill in them the confidence to believe in themselves, how can we hope to make an impact in schools or other communities that we go into?
This is where it all begins, empowering our children to walk their talk and turn their dreams into reality. Today was a beautiful reminder of that.

Week recap 🙌

This week was a little different with me being away, but the team stepped up and kept things moving.

The main focus this week was E in SAVERS, Exercise. A lot of the sessions were outdoors, getting the blood moving and talking about how movement can help us fill our own cups.

Big shout out to our facilitators for leading the sessions, connecting with our young people, and continuing to do the work.

Really proud of the team. ❤️

This is what it’s all about. Building a team that can step up and keep going.

While I'm away, it's been great to see the team stepping up and continuing the work with our young people.

I'm really proud of our facilitators for leading the sessions, sharing their stories, and creating meaningful conversations in the room.

The impact continues because of the people behind it.

Yesterday at Palauli Sisifo College 🇼🇸🙌

Really grateful for the opportunity to connect with the students, share our stories, and give back through our workshop.

We spoke about identity, culture, and coming home to add value and support our people.

We gave out some rugby and football gear for the school, and they also blessed us with some beautiful gifts to take home.

We’re not here to take. We’re here to add value. ❤️
