A MODERN STYLISH NORFOLK WEDDING.

With all of Siobhan and James’s style and personality, this wedding was everything that I thought it would be. They decorated the Reading Room into a modern, colourful and stylish celebration backdrop for their celebrations. It matched their personalities perfectly, reflecting who they are as a couple. They brought that same personality into their day with so much character.

Throughout the day their was lots of time for capturing natural candid photos as well as making sure their was plenty of time for some luxurious editorial photography, creating some beautiful portraits for the couple and their wedding party. We had so much fun taking these photos.

PHOTOGRAPHERS AND EDINBURGH: A BEHIND THE SCENES LOOK AT THIS SPECIAL STYLED SHOOT WITH CAMILA URREAA.

One of my favourite things to do on these styled shoots is to take pictures of what happens on them. There’s so much more happening than just photographing a beautiful couple.

One of my favourite moments was and trying to warm up our bridal model, that girl was in just a dress and veil and didn’t complain one single bit. Even though the wind was hammering through the streets and it was freezing.

I cannot wait to share the BTS video next week, I’ve got tonnes of it to go through.

AN INSPIRATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION WITH CAMILA URREAA AT THRIVE 2026.

This week I have been away in Edinburgh at Thrive, a motivational and educational photography conference hosted by the legend that is Lisa Devlin

Every year I have the opportunity to do sessions with industry leaders from across the world. But this year I waited to book in. I wanted to find out who I would be truly inspired by. And that photographer is the passionate and incredibly talented

Her mixture of intentional documentary and editorial approaches really resounded with me and the direction in which I want to move in as a photographer. Her images are so beautiful and having the chance to see her work and take in some valuable advice was priceless.

Thank you Camila for your time, attention and passion. And, a massive thank you to Lisa Devlin for continuing to give us such insane opportunities after a decade of Photography Farm. Happy 10-year anniversary.

LET’S TALK ABOUT WHY YOU DON’T RECEIVE THE RAW IMAGE, and why you probably don’t want it anyway.

Long story short, it looks like sh*t.

I’m not sure that I know of any wedding photographer that doesn’t shoot in a RAW format. It looks dull and unflattering straight out of camera, but it allows for extreme flexibility when it comes to the editing process. And that’s why it’s important to choose the right photographer with the right aesthetic for you.

I could give the same RAW image to 10 photographers and get a different edit back from every single one due to personal creative choices and editing styles. That’s the flexibility you get from a RAW file.

And that’s also why I don’t offer the “blank slate” to my couples. Besides the obvious copyright/intellectual property laws behind that, I don’t want your first viewing of your wedding day to be of this flat looking image that hasn’t been processed. It would be a terrible way to experience your day for the first time.
