MODEL CALL — WOMEN’S PORTRAITS
I’m inviting a small number of women to take part in a studio portrait session
as I continue shaping my new body of work.

This model call is open to:
• Women of all ages
• Pregnant women (any stage)
• No modelling experience needed

The sessions will take place in a studio in King’s Lynn and are designed to be calm, guided, and supportive — with a focus on presence, confidence, and quiet strength.

Selected participants will receive:
• A professional studio portrait session

This beautiful event took place at Middleton Castle 🏰 where Anamika celebrated her 40th birthday in style. Her friends and family had the whole castle to themselves for the weekend, and it was a real joy capturing her event in such a grand setting.

AUTUMN PHOTOSHOOT
When Amber contacted me and said she wanted a shoot in a big ball gown in a stately home for her 19th birthday, I knew it will be an interesting project. But the results exceeded my expectations.
Amber was wearing the most beautiful ball gown which complemented her dainty features. She was so poised and elegant, it felt as if she belonged in this stately home all along. She brought her grandfather's old books as props, which has added to the authenticity of the moment.
It's one of these shoots where everything was perfect -the setting, the model, the styling, the lighting and the atmosphere.
Autumn is a beautiful season for photoshoots, it is more temperamental and unpredictable than summer, but if you time it right, you will be rewarded with beautiful images that will tell your story for many years to come.

Four generations got together to celebrate a Ruby Wedding Anniversary. And this family decided to capture this special moment at the Old Hunstanton Beach. I am so pleased they did, because I think the best gift you can give someone is memories. And what can be more precious than spending time with your family.
Everything went smoothly and everyone walked away with a smile on their face, which is a good sign.

Well, hello again. This is me - Val, your photographer. As for most of my clients, their first meeting with me happens minutes before their photoshoot, it can be hard to relax straight away in front of a stranger. This is how I look right now. I'm not a scary monster pointing a camera in your face 🤣

I might be a stranger to you to start with, but I am a very sociable and empathetic person who finds an approach to every single person. Whether you are an introvert or an extrovert, I will know in which direction to take the shoot and how to bring the best out of you. Having worked in the public sector for over a decade has given me the skills and the experience to handle any situation.

And all you need to know is I am a human being just like you. I also get nervous before every single shoot, I worry that my equipment will malfunction or that I will take terrible pictures or that I will forget something. We are in the same boat before the shoot.

My job is to give you a positive experience, capture a particular moment in your life in the most esthetically pleasing way, and help you see your own beauty through the power of photography. Judging by the reviews I receive from my customers, I think I do a pretty good job.
