Otter's 🦦

On our last day on mull last week, we got up early for a drive down the loch before having to get ferry in the afternoon after a frustrating week for otter spotting with luck not on my side for the week with otters not being around or people crowding

But as we got towards the end of the loch i spotted movement on a rock slowly making my way down the beach hiding behind a rock moving only when the otter was underwater i watched it fish for about ten minutes before i spotted the mother coming in with a flatfish i then spent roughly an hour and a half watching the mother and cub pair fish and move up the loch

White Tailed Sea Eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla)

The Uk's largest bird with a wingspan up to 2.5m , the gulls really give a good size comparison

Was able to watch and photograph this bird for nearly 20 minutes on the shore of the loch making sure I was not distrubing it staying well back and using a boulder to hide behind watching it till it flew off being harassed by these gull's

With visiting mull earlier this year, it meant we had a chance to see puffins , we booked a trip with Turus Mara - Isle of Mull, Treshnish Isles and Staffa Boat Tours and headed out for a great first day on mull
