Back to sports this evening…. 🏀 and a new 📸

A double header of sports with basketball for the 2nd round league matches for French national league 1 and a chance to familiarise myself with my new camera. Finger muscle memory is a huge part of photography especially when working between different camera bodies and having confidence in a split second before pressing the shutter. Some more personal shots tonight ahead of more journalistic shots ahead of a different sport tonight at the same location.

Un mariage civil à Paris ♥️ 14/02/26 Ahead of their July wedding celebration Dorian and Doriane tied the knot in their civil ceremony in Paris, Bèzons on Valentine’s Day. A cold day with some snow in the air but with warmth and emotion by their families and friends and celebrated . It’s not every day you get to take the wedding party on a Parisian tram and am looking forward to their summer celebration. Congratulations Doriane and Dorian! 🥂

Now that the dust has settled on the 2026 New Years celebrations, I want to wish a Happy New Year to our 2025 couples and their first as married couples. For the first time all our couples in date order from Toulon and the Dordogne, to Paris and Le Mans, to London and Sussex I want to say thank you for your trust in our photography, the wonderful venues you gave us carte blanche to photograph, your energy, warm welcome and your kind words of reviews.

2025 finishes with a slow burning explosive firework of a match. Free rein to get the shots I wanted last focussing more on emotions, the actors and the show and finally I appeared in one of my own pictures this year if you can spot me! Looking forward to developing my sports photography next year with new ideas and energy 🏀

Michaela and Rich -
As we get ready for our wedding showcase I wanted to share this beautiful wedding from last year that we shot for Michaela and Rich.

We started with a pre-shoot on the South Downs as the perfect way to get them used to the camera and had fun trying different poses for them. When their day came, all their preparations and our planning slotted into place for a wonderful with family and friends.

They specifically wanted natural shots for their day and we shot the day reportage style, but we also set up a woodland scene for them to walk into and shoot just before their first dance. Michaela and Rich recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary and we wish them every happiness for them and their families for the future! 🥂 wedding

John and Adele - 30-08-25 - Selden Barns

John and Adele’s day started with their pre wedding shoot at the Ouse valley viaduct back in summer to prepare them for their day. It was a great way to get to know them better and to hear about their wedding plans and how to best support them. The day itself wasn’t blessed with good weather but as photographers we adapt to get the most from the day and always have a back up plan for their shots. We had a wonderful day supporting John and Adele and their lovely words mean so much by way of a testimonial. Wishing them and their families all the best for the future!

Laura and Greg - 23-8-25 - La Ferté Vidame
A wonderful day remembered for Laura and Greg in images and their kind words by way of review. After marrying at the town hall we were able to photograph at a place I’d discovered recently and which was near to their Ceremony. A beautiful canopy of trees and Chateau as a backdrop gave them time to relax and for us to take some relaxed pictures before their evening celebrations. A truly enjoyable day spent helping them celebrate with families and friends.

Tibi and Raluca 🥂 Toulon, June 2026

It’s sometimes an over used expression to say that it’s a privilege to photograph a couple’s marriage but working with Tibi and Raluca for their wedding was just a perfect experience for us. The location of Toulon, the welcome we received and of course the couple themselves really allowed us to use all available spaces and energy to capture their day to push the boundaries with our photography. Never forgetting that it was their wedding day and not a photoshoot. The couple in their own words wrote:

“The quality of his photos and his calm demeanor impressed us, as did his clear and effective plan. We did a test session in Paris where he gave us instructions on how to pose without taking us out of our comfort zone. It’s safe to say we were looking forward to our wedding day just for the photos, and we were right. We felt comfortable the entire time, and all our guests really appreciated his work.
He quickly gave us some souvenir photos, and we received all the photos after two weeks. He knew how to capture every key moment, and thanks to his photos, we can relive that day endlessly. Thank you so much, Nick and Shane!”

This was our first wedding of the year here in France and a wonderful way to continue our wedding season. Wishing Tibi and Raluca every happiness and good health in their lives together for the future 🙏🏼

Emmanuel and Camille 05-07-25, Paris

Im lucky as a photographer to photograph some wonderful locations but an urban Parisian wedding comes with an added responsibility. Not only to the couple but to the wonderful backdrop it provides. Beginning with the beautiful Mairie de Levallois-Perret, Emmanuel and Camille planned their day to the last detail and worked with me to plan their day to incorporate iconic photo spots such as the Louvre, Colonnes de Buren, Parc Monceau, pont de Bir Hakeim and a welcome surprise visit to the Ritz and Cartier. All places which mean something to them and part of their story together.

I often say to couples planning their day with me, that photography isn’t just about the big moments, it’s fashion, reportage, portrait, family, landscape and performance photography all rolled into a day. All the time with the need to adapt to different situations, people, lighting and moments together. They ended their day with beautiful live music and talented performances drawing on their musical backgrounds as professional pianists, providing the energy to end the day on a high.

My colleague and I always say that we leave a bit of ourselves in our weddings to get the most of the photo opportunities for our couples and locations. That was the case with Emmanuel and Camille’s day and made choosing 20 images for this post very difficult. Thank you for your confidence in my photography and for looking after your photographer to allow me to capture your day. This was a big help 👌🏼 Wishing you every happiness for the future!

Alex & Megan 21-06-25 🥂 There’s no such thing as a “typical” wedding but if you’d have thought of English country wedding, this would have been it. A stunning venue for Alex and Megan’s wedding followed dancing, fish and chips and improv comedy all made for a memorable day for them and their friends and families. Just a small photo selection, with their entrance music having just delivered them their photos to look back on and some favourite images to tell the story of their wedding. Congratulations Alex and Megan! 💕 estate improv
