When thinking about updating Headshots start by thinking of your ‘industry standard’ and then add in what you want to bring - friendliness/approachability, seniority, authenticity etc. In Finance your industry standard is still shirt and jacket for men (particularly the more senior you are) but no need for a tie nowadays (for us women tailoring is still recommended - top/dress and jacket. Using a plain white or grey background can look a little stark or clinical whilst an in office setting can bring warmth and authenticity to your headshot 📸
