Many people contributed all kinds of works of art with visual information about the history using photography, painting, sculpture, textile, music and art.

Can you remember 6 years ago when we we're all locked down, hiding from a tiny virus?
I documented that moment in our lives and created a book that was bought by the British Library to keep forever. Local families told their story, how they were passing time during lockdown, what they missed from the old world and what their hopes were for the future.
This will remain in history for eternity and we were part of this, we experienced this with our own breath, our own eyes, hearts and emotions.
It's hard to believe it was 6 years ago!
What a time to be alive!

This work is in the progress of being published in a book that will feature photographs and stories of the people that have taken part in this project as well as some carefully created photographs amidst the lockdown around Hinckley and Burbage, showing empty streets and some of the best window dressings, showing support for our NHS and also to help brighten up the streets.

Hello. My name is Stupid Steve and I am a silly slow snail. I have been sliding to the compost bin since Thursday.
You probably only notice me on rainy days, and that’s because — scientifically speaking — I cannot be bothered the rest of the time. We need moisture to move. No rain, no stupid Steve. Those are my terms.
There are around 120 species of us land snails in Britain. I have met none of them. I don’t get out much.
On a really good wet night I can cover 50 metres. I know. Try to contain your excitement. I do this while carrying my entire house on my back, which I think deserves significantly more respect than it gets.
The slime trail I leave behind isn’t just for moving either — we use it to find each other. I’ve been following Juicy Janet’s trail since February. She doesn’t know I exist. Classic.
Anyway. It’s raining. I’m out. This is my moment.
Please do not stand on me.”
