The sleepy Greek streets of Ermioni, a beautifully typical fishing town in southern Greece 🇬🇷
I could’ve spent days making photographs around this place and enjoyed a lovely meal on the west coast, watching the sunsetting, finishing off the day with a gorgeous full blue moon rise over the Aegean Sea.
I was flown out to film and photograph a wedding for a couple that actually married one year before this trip and in total secret too… except I and my assistant were the only living souls with this knowledge.
Last week I got to complete their story, the most romantic story in all of the world 🌎

To be flown to Greece to film and photograph the wedding for the most romantic love story in the world is a total blessing.
Congratulations to Ollie and Kirsten, a special couple with a completely unique vision of marriage.

Ollie and Kirsten got married a year ago.
Nobody knew.
They kept it between themselves for twelve months — no announcements, no celebrations, just the two of them quietly carrying a secret that most people couldn't hold for twelve minutes.
The night before their ceremony in Greece, they told everyone.
What followed was one of the most emotionally charged weddings I've ever worked. Because this wasn't just a wedding — it was a release. A whole year of something held tightly, finally let go in front of the people they love most, under a full moon rising over the mountains.
Kirsten told me the Greece ceremony felt more real to her than the one in England. I understood exactly what she meant the moment I looked back at my images.
This photograph was made after their ceremony. I didn't need to do much. Some moments just are what they are.

A year long secret revealed to their family the night before their wedding in Greece.
Psst! They were already married and had been for a whole year, keeping the biggest secret from their loved ones and throwing traditional marriage out of the window. They literally rewrote what it means to be married, what it’s actually all about.

Day 2 in Greece and we’ve spent it mostly travelling from Athens to Ermioni but took a massive detour to a beautiful place called Nafplio, which is an authentic blend of an Ancient Greek town and with modern Italian vibes. We also traversed the southern mountain ranges and purposefully went the long way around.
Tomorrow we meet with the Bride and Groom - Ollie and Kirsten for the Big Fat Greek Wedding 🇬🇷
