Tori + James, what a day.
The kind of hot, blue-sky summer day they’d hoped for, and it delivered from start to finish.
I spent the morning with them both as they got ready apart. James was with his groomsmen, kept calm and well entertained, and that whisky glass gift he opened barely left his hand once the reception rolled around. Tori slipped into her dress and her custom Converse, comfort sorted for the long day ahead.
Then the first look in the garden with her dad and bridesmaids. Not many dry eyes for that one.
The service was at their family church in Spinkhill, before we headed down into the village for a few photos and a pint poured for one another in the pub where they first met. Where the whole story started.
Back to Thornbridge Hall for the reception, and what a setting for an afternoon of sunshine. Laughter everywhere. Bubbles flowing, garden games, canapés doing the rounds, and a proper debate over white socks with shoes and a suit. Tables named after their favourite drinks, which felt exactly right.
Everyone had a brilliant time, Tom and I included. Always good to be working alongside Tom from Hitched Productions again too.
