Happy Easter! May the Lord bless you and your families abundantly. I’ve just been out on a restful and relaxing walk with my camera while my husband finished off cooking our roast 🤩.
I was keen to see if any bluebells are out along the footpaths through farmland surrounding my neighborhood… and they are starting to open and looking beautiful in their brilliant blues💙 All the flowers are out a lot earlier than other years, this year.

I’m looking back on the year that’s passed with a thankful heart and look forward to all that lies ahead in 2026! Last year I loved photographing special weddings and engagements - heartfelt moments and I loved capturing children in nurseries for their families on their photo days. I’m thankful for every client I’ve had and look forward to meeting new clients in the year ahead!

After a good rest, a lovely holiday, meals out, lots of sunny days and a few days out, I look forward to photographing Pre Schools and Nurseries again soon.

Throwback post. This week I bought a lovely watermelon and it reminded me of a fun Summer memory. 5 years on, this mum heart is SO happy that I took these! I'd bought a watermelon with a mini shoot in mind and had some fun with my children in our garden in the Summer. (Oh those 2020 haircuts 🤣 I think I'll stick to photography!)
Phone photos are great for in the moment but I'd wanted photos I could print and frame so I used my DSLR camera on a low aperture to blur the background and photographed with intentionality, I planned the background and placed my children in the light I wanted them in, chose the outfits and played around with poses, composition and editing. I'm available for family photo shoots over the Summer - there's no bad time to have family photos. 5 years on you will be SO glad you did! You focus on making memories while I capture them for you.
