As a Manchester-based photographer, I am easily accessible to those seeking a local portrait or headshot photographer. Capturing the love of the street and people, portraits and architecture photography are my absolute passions, as well as I provide expert commercial photography and videography for brands. I love making art with my work and photography is the art of holding a single moment, for an

eternity. The name The Troubled Photographer comes from having a mental health breakdown caused by a traumatic experience some time ago. During a meeting with a therapist, she asked “What do you like doing in your free time?” after some time my response was “I used to like photography” That’s when I picked up a camera again.

The ceremony of the 631st anniversary of the Lisbon Firefighters Regiment, which took place this morning in Plaza do Comércio. I thought I would show some solidarity as an ex UK armed force vet as Portugal and the UK have the longest military alliance, the Anglo-Portuguese Alliance that date's back over 650 years to 1373.

It was great spending some time with .ri again on Saturday. There is a really cool bar in Principe Real called Pavilhão Chinês. Comprising of 5 rooms decorated like a museum, with military toys and other decorations included 2 pool tables in the back room. If you're around Lisbon, it's definitely a place to visit.

A relaxed portrait session in Jardim das Amoreiras with Joëlle from Quebec.

This is one of my favourite spots in Lisbon—quiet, full of soft light, and with the aqueduct framing the background in a way that just works effortlessly for natural portraits.

The goal with shoots like this is simple: keep things easy, keep things real, and let the location and light do the heavy lifting.
