Weddings are made up of moments. Moments that DON’T happen at any other wedding.

Sure they all follow a similar pattern; get ready, ceremony, photos, dinner, etc, etc…

But all the moments in that, they’re unique to YOU.

Throwing back to Joanne & Paul’s wedding day at That Amazing Place, some stand out moments…

- Paul’s son getting emosh during his speech. Recovering with a joke… Legend.
- Flower girl being completely unimpressed by the Sax lady
- Joanne having two outfit choices and choosing the one to be!

And tonnes more!

Wedding days are made up of hundreds of little moments like these, and all the big stuff too of course.

My goal: Is telling your story in full. Your wedding day

Wedding days move so fast.

One minute everyone’s getting ready, the next you’re walking down the aisle, then suddenly the whole day is over.

That’s why moments like this matter so much.

A reaction.
A look.
A hug.

A few seconds that would’ve been gone in an instant if nobody captured them.

These are the photos that take people straight back to how the day actually felt.

And years later, they usually end up meaning even more.

This is why capturing moments matters.

DM me if this is your vibe

The moments my couples come back and tell me they remember most are rarely the big planned moments.

Not the group shots.
Or the ceremony.
Or even the first kiss sometimes.

It’s usually the moments they didn’t even realise were happening.

Someone falling over on the dancefloor.
A quiet moment with nan.
Someone sneaking a gulp of secco out the bottle.

Because the moments that matter the most are usually the real ones.
The unplanned ones.
The ones happening quietly in the background while everyone’s just fully in the day.

If you want moments like this captured, my DM’s are open to you

May… The month of extremes!

From FREEEZING to BOILING in 0.6 seconds, we finally entered the start of some nice weather.

Barbies on, beer gardens packed, suncream forgotten.

So many shoots from family, newborn to dogs, and weddings too. But what do I get up to when I’m not shooting?

💃Went to a Hen do… where I may have got a bit pickled 🫣
😨Saw some terrifying films in the cinema… you seen Obsession?! FFFF that! 😨
🌷Got myself to Dam baby, always wanted to go again. LOVED it.
🍟Stroopwafels, Frites, Bitterballen, Genever, did ALL the touristy things…
🍰 Even had this Red Velvet cake that was trending on TikTok, but it made me feel kinda funny?! 😜
🍽️ Dinners & catch ups with some epic people.

This month was jam packed with goodness!

June, what you bringing to the table?

The best weddings feel like this 🤍

No pressure to be perfect.
No following rules that don’t fit you.
No performing for the day.

Just people laughing too loud.
Holding each other a bit tighter.
And actually *being there* for it all.

A bit of chaos.
A lot of love.
And moments that don’t need staging to matter.

That’s it.
That’s the magic.

“This is me. Awkward in front of the camera.”

Kirsty said to me before their engagement shoot... followed by THE Chandler GIF 😅 iykyk...

Not the first time I’ve heard it, won’t be the last!

Standing in front of a camera feels weird.

You overthink it.
You don’t know what to do.
You tense up.
You just hope no one says “say cheese” 😬

(Spoiler: I don’t.)

But shooting with me is simple, walking, chatting, connecting, guiding, fluid, fun. Nothing fancy. Nothing too awks.

Within minutes, the nerves started to drop.

Then we add a bit of chaos... games, laughter, piggy backs, whatever you’re up for.

Moments that stop you thinking about the camera, so you can start just being YOU.

And the photos?

Pure, real moments of them just having fun together 🤍

“Do we really need a videographer?” is something I hear often.

And honestly? There’s no right or wrong answer.

But I recently did another shoot with one of my past couples, and we were talking about the things they’d change if they could do it again.

And the top thing? Get a videographer.

Photos captured how it looked, and how it felt. Video adds another layer to that.

The voices.
The speeches.
The laughs.
The movement.

Because as beautiful as photos are, video brings back a completely different side of the memory.

Not better.
Just different.

Photos freeze moments.
Video lets you relive them.

And when the day goes by as fast as weddings always do... that can mean a lot 🤍

Which is another thing they told me... That day FLEW by, and without the photos, they almost wouldn’t have remembered much it was such a blur!

Take me back to this epic wedding dayyyyy!!! Amie & Luke, shall we do it all over again?

Amie dissed traditions such as “something old, something new, etc, etc” saying she didn’t believe in all that stuff.

Boy am I with ya.

Bu**er traditions and just have an epic day, which is exactly what we did!

No something old, etc etc.
No first dance.

Just two people having the best day ever!

Whenever I ask couples what they want most on their wedding day...

The answer is almost always:
“Sunshine” ☀️😂

And fair play, I get it.

But lemme challenge ya for a sec...

Cloudy weather is REALLY not a bad thing.

Soft light.
No harsh shadows.
No squinting because the sun’s trying to personally attack everyone 😭

Strong wind though? Yeah... that can absolutely do one.

And if you’re worried about rain?

Some of the best moments happen in it.

This shot literally wouldn’t have happened without it.

I know though…

You want everyone outside having a drink, and the idea of getting that expensive dress muddy probably makes you wanna cry a bit 🥲

But realistically... are you ever gunna wear that dress again?

Dirty dress or memories of an epic day?

I know which one I’d choose 🤍
