This year has been so great for Cornish beach shoots - I have loved all the gorgeous people I've met and everyone has been amazing at dealing with late nights and early wake ups 😅

Hard conversations. They're usually avoided. You know when you need to address something important but ugh, that feeling it gives you just thinking about it stops you.
You want to connect, but you instead say something random about the weather. Safe territory. You ache to touch with words and be met fully, but doubt it'll happen. So you stay silent about what is eating you up.

I feel like we are all drowning in small talk, avoiding the hard conversations that might result in being misheard, misunderstood, or worse - rejected.

Maybe today; just start with a small truth. A tiny step in the right direction. It doesn't have to be a full conversation but it can be a word more than you dared before.

Let's live in hard conversations and see how quickly things shift from awkward to awake.

(Not photography related but at the same time very photography related - a reminder to myself to keep it real, in this crazy superficial social media world. I know I can't be the only one suffering) ❤️

Never is the saying more true "life is what happens while you're making other plans" than when you have children. The meaning of time changes - it stretches and shrinks at the same time.

All you can do is be wherever you are, in it, and know that the life that's happening is perfect. You don't need to make other plans ❤️
