Heather Fyfe Hampshire based Freelance Photographer available for Hire 📷
Fine Art Prints Available To Purchase 💮

Based in the scenic county of Hampshire, Heather can regularly be found ambling through woodlands, parks and planted gardens - attempting to capture her distinct view, of the beautiful fine details of the natural world that surrounds us. Her love of photography stems back to her formative years, where she would often trawl through dozens of family photo albums. These albums were packed with colour

ful images of her time growing up in Australia and Japan, of family holidays and simple photos of friends and pets. She purchased her first DSLR 10 years ago, and since then has been commissioned to work on a variety of different photographical projects, ranging from events, to theatre stills, weddings and editorial work - but found herself continually being drawn back to nature, flora and fauna. In 2021 she seized the opportunity of working for herself as a Freelance Photographer, and is currently taking on commissions and project work. Heather has worked hard to curate her most beloved images into a series of fine art prints, made available to purchase via her online store. Her former careers have moulded her into a passionate, customer centric, mindful, perfectionist. A mother of two girls, two cats and two guinea pigs, a wife to a Jiu Jitsu/Karate-mad man, sometimes archer, frequent jogger, always Vegan, with an unhealthy obsession with organic scandi-wear and recycling.

Something new for you all ☺️
What do you think?

I created a super cheap and cheerful light box (copied it from the last project 🤓).
Made suing A3 white foam board from The Range and placed it near a window to get some good natural light!

On my recent runs, I’ve been passing all these beautiful autumnal berries and leaves and had a vague idea in my mind of putting something together.

Have you ever made anything on the cheap that turned out pretty good? 🛠

Hey all! It’s been a while, did you miss me? I’ve been a busy little bee recently with both creative and personal stuff.
I thought I’d share with you some of my recent work ☺️

Sam from approached me a while back to ask for some of a new product that’s about to launch in the USA.

Him and his business partner have created a sturdy, durable, high quality leather tool pouch - and he was looking to show case it with a series of lifestyle and commercial photos. 🛠

We’ve had two sessions now - one focusing on showing off the tool belts features and benefits, and the other showing off its capacity and functionality!

Being a tradesperson himself, Sam created a brilliant white box to take these photos in, using some white board from a local craft shop!

I’m really pleased with how these turned out, let me know what you think!

More from RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival, I did warn you there’s be loads 🤓

We started off our day amongst the Roses, in the Festival of Roses Marquee - an exquisite display featuring roses from and .

Then out to the gorgeous Rainbow of Roses also by .

We tried to smell all of them 😅 as did most people by the looks of it - gorgeous scents.

We then had a wonder around the stalls in this area taking in some garden furniture, sculptures and ornaments.

I’m afraid I don’t know what stall these lovely Rabbits/Hares were from - but they had a lovely range of metal work sculptures including a huge heron!

After that we went for a little pit stop under a huge oak tree (seemingly a good place for a rest break and an ice cream). We ate some nice vegan pain au chocolat, which I’d made the day before and a little drink.

We had a wonder around the planted gardens (photos of these to come) and then passed the wonderfully whimsical sculptures by .

Anyone else love allotments?!

I loved the looking round the allotment section, from the ‘No Dig Garden’ plot, to the all green and white ‘Dreamlands’ plot by Jessica Spreadbury-Kaewchan (which inspired by author HP Lovecraft’s short stories.

Beautiful inspiration in each direction you looked! I especially loved the little plot by Friends of Ascott Allotments and have serious allotment envy!

Much like others last year, we applied for an allotment and are most likely down on a very long waiting list. We’ve had to find other ways to grow (not having our own garden space), hence the guerrilla gardening and all our pots of regrown veg ☺️

This allotment was created by the Friends of Ascott Allotments, I can’t see that they are on Instagram but have a wicked good page and website, which you should totally check out ☺️

So here is the first one of many many photos from RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival 2021.
Be prepared for many more over the next week (and I will put up a full album on my website too).

This first set of images is of an absolutely stunning plant - that appeared to be in favour at the moment - and the Bees and insects were enjoying them as much as we were!

This is Eryngium x zabelii - ‘Big Blue’ and particular one was on a stall run by Dominic Kaye Plants from Lancashire. They had a beautiful range of plants for sale.
