Well August was a true test of versatility! Here is what happened:

4 x Weddings, full of love and beautiful vows.
2 x Maternity Shoots capturing the magic of new beginnings.

From braving the hottest day of August to pushing through the wettest, every single weather condition was worth it to capture these moments. A huge thank you to everyone who trusted me with their memories this month!
Now, switching gears—September is officially all about school shoots! Ready for sharp uniforms, big smiles, and fresh school-year energy.

Let me set the scene 4 years ago in May. I met a lovely couple who asked me to do a maternity photoshoot. We had some fabulous weather in May that year but when the day of the shoot came we had rain and a cold spell. Would you believe it. Fast forward 4 years and the same couple contacted me to say that they were expecting again and would I do a maternity shoot again for them. They booked this in July in the middle of one (of many) heat waves. Straight away I said that I would love to, did they want it at the same place as before i asked, they replied could they go somewhere different. They decided that Sam’s sunflower field would set a beautiful shoot. (I know some of you know where this is going). They booked 19th Aug 2026. How exciting I said, the days leading up to it I thought, goodness its going to be another hot shoot, I must remember to take some suntan lotion.
Yesterday we messaged each other to make sure that things were still ok and jokingly said it might rain again.

Well today came and oh my goodness it just didn’t rain, it came down like someone threw a bucket of water over me. The moral of this story is: You can prepare for everything—the logistics, the timing and the backup options. What you can’t plan is the weather so just go with the flow and don’t stress. 10/10 preparation, 0/10 sun control.

On Monday 7th September or Tuesday 8th September at 3:30 PM (in 10min slots) at HEDCA Gosport for my mini school photoshoot to capture who your children truly are at this exact age. Slots are £10 (siblings included!) and feature at least 5 digital images sent directly to you. Send a message to secure your time!

Spoiled is an absolute understatement! 🧺✨
How stunning is this afternoon tea hamper sent over by one of my lovely couples for me and my parents? Safe to say it was beyond incredible (the scones and cakes didn't stand a chance!).
While gifts are never expected, thoughtful gestures like this truly mean the world to me. Working with such kind, amazing people makes what I do so special.
Huge thank you again to Mr & Mrs E—you completely made our week! 🍰☕️
PS we had to ask for a little doggy bag as we couldn't finish it 🤦‍♀️

This week I've gone from photographing glamorous prom-goers to tiny preschool graduates... talk about covering the full age range!

From sharp suits and beautiful dresses to Spider-Men, Elsa's, magical capes and plenty of superhero poses, it's been a week full of laughter, big personalities and unforgettable smiles. I honestly couldn't ask for a more fun job! 📸✨
