For a limited number of appointments, I am opening The Bloom Collection again at my Gloucester studio.

These are soft, floral studio portraits for dogs — designed to create something beautiful, finished and timeless.

Your dog does not need to be perfectly trained, sit still for ages, or “perform” for the camera. The session is relaxed, patient and dog-led, as always.

Each Bloom appointment includes:

A relaxed studio portrait session
A cinematic viewing appointment afterwards
One finished matted portrait from your session

At the viewing, you will choose your included portrait and see the rest of the images from the collection. Additional portraits, wall art and collections are available if you wish.

This is ideal for owners who would love something special of their dog — not just another photo on a phone, but a proper portrait to keep.

Appointments are limited.

This little pug puppy absolutely stole the show in the studio. He may not be ready for the half-pipe just yet, but he has definitely mastered the art of looking ridiculously cute on a skateboard.

Meet Pip and Nettle.

Pip is an Ariégeois — a French scent hound — and Nettle is a very beautiful Spaniel puppy.

They came to the studio for their portrait session and looked rather splendid together on the Chesterfield

Two very different dogs, two very different personalities, and one lovely portrait.

Pip brought the elegance.

Meet Alfred.

Alfred is a 15-year-old Lurcher, and he came to the studio for his portrait session.

There is something incredibly special about photographing older dogs. They may move a little slower, they may need a little more time, but they carry so much character, history and quiet wisdom in their faces.

Alfred was an absolute gentleman.

These are the sessions that really matter. Not because everything has to be perfect, but because the dog in front of the camera already is.

Beautiful Alfred.

Because they were never just a dog.
