How unfair that these first few years go by so quickly!?
How intricate and beautifully we are entwined with our babies, like learning a new dance, every step, every twirl feels so different, exciting and holy in the beginning, and then you get better at it, you start memorising the moves, and it becomes more natural, you learn to flow together, hold each other, move like a golden string floating through the air.
Less pushing when they’re pulling, more moments where it feels like you can breathe again, and you realise their breath was formed in your deepest being.

When you become a mum, things can feel very overwhelming, and it’s so easy to get caught up in all of it that we rarely stand still and just soak up the little moments, until you one day look back and realise your baby is now a toddler, and you miss those little toes, the kissable folds in their necks, how they snuggled into you and fell asleep, how you fed them from your body, the excitement on their face when you enter the room.
That’s why I started the Mommy x Me sessions, created around motherhood, connection, longing, being in the moment, so that you never have to forget these moments!

A few favs I did recently. There really is just so much joy having these little inquisitive mind in front of my camera and letting them explore their surroundings!

I really am not a sit, smile, be stiff photographer. I love capturing little humans just as they are, serious, mysterious, full of wonder and fun.
