Frome Wessex Photographic We are a very active local club, meeting every Friday at Beckington Memorial Hall. We have around 70 members and welcome all skill levels.

So whether you are a beginner, or an experienced photographer, drop us a line or pop in and see us one Friday! Frome Wessex Photographic (FWP) is a community of passionate photographers who share their love for the art of photography. The club offers a welcoming and supportive environment for photographers of all levels, from beginners to professionals, to learn and grow their skills. FWP organize

s regular meetings, workshops, and trips to provide its members with opportunities to improve their photography skills and explore new techniques. The club also hosts regular competitions, which allow members to showcase their work and receive constructive feedback from their peers. FWP has a strong sense of community, and members are encouraged to share their knowledge and expertise with each other. The club's website features a members' gallery, which showcases the work of its talented photographers, and provides a platform for members to share their work with a wider audience. Check out the Frome Museum Out and About in Frome Photographic Exhibition.
Several Frome Wessex Photographic members enjoyed photographing parts of Frome in the lockdown period for the exhibition.

Frome Out & About 2020 Photo Project

Frome Museum planned a photo project to capture life in Frome for a couple of weeks in April 2020 and several local photographers were invited to participate. Just as it was being implemented the Covid Pandemic occurred locking everything down, so it was extended to the September. Twelve photographers took part and the images on display are not about the pandemic, but the lockdown has influenced some of their photos.
