I have just posted my first post-lockdown wedding on the blog. It was so good to be back behind the camera photographing people in ❤️ Intimate wedding are the new thing and they are ace! Congratulations Laura Lewis and Derwin ###

This was my first wedding after covid restrictions had lifted. It was very special to photograph this intimate wedding that had been postponed numerous times due to the pandemic.

As we mark one year from the first lockdown my heart goes out to all the couples whose wedding plans have been affected by the pandemic and the ever-changing lockdown rules. I'm sure it feels like your life is on hold but you will get there! And your rescheduled wedding will be so special and even more magical ✨

I have been rather absent here of late, and thought it time to say hello again with my baby-shaped excuse for not getting anything done atm! Meet Olive, my funny happy little soul who has kept me busy and preoccupied during lockdown.
~
I have to say, whilst not getting any work done, I do feel very fortunate to have had a big distraction during one of the hardest years we have all faced. The wedding industry has suffered massively and my heart goes out to all the couples who should be happily wed by now and have had to put their life on hold. Your time will come guys! And 2021 is just going to be bigger and better!

It feels strange not to be posting recent weddings, which is another reason why this account has remained quiet this summer, but I have been enjoying looking back through my archives of past weddings recently, so expect a reflection of some of my favourites to come!
