🎉 What a fantastic evening! 🎉

A huge thank you to Rob and his quiz team for a brilliant night at The Rose & Crown, Farringdon!🍻🧠

Advertised as “a fun quiz”… and it certainly was! 😂 This was very much our version of quizzing — plenty of laughs, a little bit of chaos and absolutely no shortage of competitive spirit!

Bon certainly threw herself into the beachwear challenge 🏖️🤣 and we all loved the snowball throwing ⛄️❄️ — not your usual quiz activities, but definitely our sort of evening!

A big thank you too to all the staff at the pub, who worked incredibly hard looking after everyone. The food was excellent and helped keep us fuelled for all that serious quizzing! 🍽️👏

We had such a great time and cannot wait for the Christmas quiz! 🎄🎅

🍳🍺 Posh breakfast at the brewery? Yes please!

We started the day with a rather Posh breakfast at Hogs Back Brewery, and what a brilliant way to kick things off! 😍

This week saw the taproom open its doors for breakfast from Wednesday to Saturday and we couldn’t resist trying something new. And we’re so glad we did! We tucked in a full English breakfast and Salmon on toast.

Based in Tongham, perfectly placed between Farnham, Guildford and Aldershot, there’s plenty of indoor and outdoor space, loads of parking and, of course, the chance to pick up some of their mega-popular Hogs Back beers while you’re there. 🍻

A really great addition to the local breakfast scene — we’ll definitely be back! 🙌

We had a few hours to spare and spotted the Headley Scarecrow Trail on Facebook, so thought we’d pop down and have a look. 🌾👀 on until 31st August

What a great little thing to do in the local Headley Village area! We had great fun trying to find all 17, and even managed to stop for a drink at The Crown Arford with ‘Beer Belly Bob’! 🍻😂

Such a lovely way to spend a few hours — definitely worth a visit if you’re local! Keep an eye out for the sunflowers too!😊

Sunsets, sumptuous cocktails, superb pizza and Balearic beats… all in one place! 🌅🍕🍹🎶

Not sure how we’ve managed to miss the Wylds Farm events in the past, but it’s definitely going to be a regular for us from now on!

We spotted the Ibiza house beats event on Wylds Farm Facebook and grabbed tickets without really knowing what to expect. Well… it was awesome! What a gem right on our doorstep in Liss Hamshire. 💃

As the sun set, the Balearic beats were banging out and took us back to the place were we first meet, while we tucked into brilliant pizza from Northern Slice Pizza and enjoyed some seriously good cocktails.

Such a great evening and we can’t wait for the next one! 🙌

☕🍰 Looking for a lovely Saturday coffee and cake stop? We’ve found a little gem! 🐓🦚🐴

Last Saturday we visited Caru Coffi in Winchfield, near Fleet (RG27 8SM), and what a treat it was!

We were treated to their homemade Welsh cakes and WOW… they were absolutely amazing! 🤤 We also enjoyed some delicious carrot cake, a muffin but lots of coffee and soft drinks.

It’s a lovely little small business run from home, with a really friendly and relaxed feel. You can sit out in the garden, enjoy your coffee and cake, and have a nosey at the chickens, peacocks and even a Shetland pony! 🥰

Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for somewhere a bit different for your Saturday coffee and cake fix. ❤️☕🍰

Thursday night done right! 🍻🥧

Back to one of our regular haunts, The Hanger Free House in Oakha, for their fantastic-value Thursday night pie and pint deal — just £18! And yes, you can have other choices than a pie and a pint too 🤣

The pies are always top draw. Mrs M went for the veggie option — butternut squash, feta and chestnut mushrooms with delicious mash — while Mr M opted for chicken and ham with chips. Awesome! 👌

The puddings were equally delicious… although Mrs M did insist on sharing hers! 😂

And the funniest bit? The card that came with the bill reminding us to book for Christmas! 🎄🤣 Do you know, I’m sure we will!

Another lovely night, great food, plenty of laughs and, most importantly, great company. ❤️

What a night! 🎉 Solor eclipse and free drinks!!!

Tonight saw the opening of Cazaro Lounge at Brightwells, Farnham — and what a busy opening it was! 🍹✨

We were even treated to a free drink as the doors opened to the Farnham community, which was a lovely touch and somehow they put on solar eclipse show🥂 even mayor joined in the festivities!

The place looks fantastic, and I think Cazaro Lounge is going to be a brilliant addition to Farnham’s social scene. Great atmosphere, great space and clearly plenty of interest from the local community already!

Wishing the team every success — I’m sure this place is going to be a popular spot! 🙌
