An adventurer’s dilemma 🤔

Allow me to de-influence you from the idea that these photos were easy to make. 😂

Every shoot somehow feels like a mountain to climb (sometimes literally), but honestly, that’s part of why I love it. It gets me out into the world, makes me do things that feel uncomfortable, and usually leaves me a little more capable than when I started.

Was it worth it? Unfortunately, yes. ✨

No one asked to see the BTS, but so much goes into these types of photos that I NEED you to know. 😂

Also not pictured: the giant cut on my hand after I thought I saw a snake, jumped, and somehow managed to gash myself.

You better believe I’m telling everyone I know that I got it via sword. ⚔️ 😏

Anyway, all worth it for a little fantasy main-character moment. ✨

Another shot from my waterfall series. ⚔️

I wanted these photos to feel like they could belong to a completely different world, and for once I feel like I accomplished that 🙌🏻

This whole scene was so much fun to put together. I have a BTS reel coming soon so you can see for yourself! ☺️

Sometimes the plot requires a waterfall... and a sword. ⚔️

I have a habit of trying to turn holidays into fantasy movie sets.😅 This was taken on my trip home to North Carolina after convincing my husband to hike to a waterfall carrying camera gear... and a sword.

No regrets.

I’ve been waiting all summer for an excuse to get in the sea, so obviously the sensible thing to do was put on a ballgown first.

Along with another prop lantern, for emotional support 😌
