During the hustle and bustle of any wedding I cover, I’m always more than happy to whisk my couples away for a short time, for two reasons.. the first reason being - nice photos, naturally 💁🏻‍♀️🤣

The second and most important is that it gives the bride and groom a breather from the craziness of their day, even a small wedding can still be overwhelming. ( I also love being able to have a giggle, getting the wedding tea and chinwagging like I’ve known them for 65 years)

Sometimes, you just have to roll up your trouser legs, bring out the bold brolly and work with the rain like it’s a prop! You may or may not see a wee haggis moving around as well if you’re lucky.

I personally love a rainy/moody scene, it adds a little more character for photos ☔️ 🤍
