An absolutely delightful shoot at Dunsapie Loch recently with Suzanne & Ally.

This shoot was so much fun!

We weren't entirely sure if the weather would hold up on the day, but thankfully the clouds completely worked in our favour given the openness of the location.

Ally got very windswept in a few photos, but it definitely added to her charm.

Not to mention her fantastic posing atop cliff top rocks. A true superstar to work with!

Suzanne's relationship with Ally & the way Ally has been cherished throughout her life is so clear to see through these photos.

It has truly been a joy, not only to capture these photos, but also to meet Suzanne and Ally, to hear their story & also to dedicate the time to turning these photos into beautiful artwork & keepsakes that Suzanne can cherish forever.

Some of my favourite images, usually come from moments that you can't plan.

It's especially true when you work with cats who often:

🐈 Ignore direction
🐈 Don't play ball
🐈 Do entirely what they want

Sometimes, shoots are just about being present & seeing what you can create in the moment.

And that's one of my most favourite things about being a pet photographer.

The happiest of birthdays to my best friend in the whole world, little Loki 🥹❣️.

11 years young & still thriving 🎉.

I am so thankful for all the years of fun, of laughter & so much love.

There was never a better option than you to bring home, despite all my initial grievances about you being a patterpup.

It is a true privilege to know an animal on such an intimate level & to have the type of relationship that other dog guardians long for.

I so hope everyone gets to experience a love like this in their lifetime.

Here's to so many more years of hilarity & happiness with the best lil dog I've ever met 🐕.

The happiest of birthday's to my best girl 💞.

16 already & you couldn't be any sweeter.

9 years of growing with & loving you.

So far, it's been the adventure of a lifetime, from the highest of highs, to the lowest of lows & all that's comes between.

I'm blessed to know a horse like you on such a deep & intimate level.

Here's to many more eons of adventures on the trail with the best lil cow pony in town.

This shoot was about learning to trust a horse who made it clear he wasn't ready to go yet.

What started as a simple model call with Leya and Pablo turned into something much deeper - a reminder that healing isn't always linear and trusting your gut is everything.

There was a moment, not so long ago, when they almost had to say goodbye, but Pablo chose to stay, to fight and to thrive.

This shoot felt like a celebration of that resilience and trust. Of patience. Of paying attention to your horse and following your intuition. Of listening when they tell us what they need and doing our best to show up for them and for ourselves.

That kind of connection can't be bought - only earned.
