Today's takes us time-travelling through 9000 years of Irish history!
Discover who, why, and where people have lived across Ireland from the early settlers after the ice age to the bronze-ages and beyond. Have you heard of Ogham? More than 400 ancient Early Medieval Ogham inscriptions still survive today. Did you know that each letter in the Ogham alphabet is named after a tree or plant?

Highly recommend a visit to The Irish National Heritage Park. Please allow at least a couple of hours to explore this great site, take the informative tours, see the Falconry Centre, and enjoy a treat from the cafe or/and gift shop.

Only a 10-minute drive from Wexford!

This , I am super excited to revisit Blarney Castle and wander in the beautiful gardens 😍It has been over 25 years since my last visit! I remember clearly that some friends and I took a taxi from Cork to Blarney Castle, and the long winding queue up the uneven spiral staircase. After seeing the position of the Blarney Stone, I opted out from kissing the Blarney Stone and receiving the gift of the gab.

Today, I was happy to explore the beautiful gardens at a more leisurely pace.

This at the Cliffs of Moher, with its incredible geology formed over 300 million years, flora and fauna living on the edge, and steeped in myths and legends.

Part of the UNESCO Global Geopark, it has an abundance of natural beauty. It was a dreich day, shrouded in dramatic clouds, and after the wind-swept wander, the delicious hot chocolate was very welcoming in the award-winning visitor centre.

I was so thrilled to finally see . 2026 theme "Out of this World" with over 145 spectacular intergalactic floral displays. Including an enormous floral globe created in honor of Sir David Attenborough's 100th birthday, a giant moon, a UFO, and many more.
London's largest free flower festival took place between 18th - 24th May 2026. It was truly cosmic!
One for the diary in 2027. Dates and theme TBC.
