An Engine Works wedding ⚙️

I joined A & S for their wedding a couple of weeks ago. They wanted unobtrusive, laidback photography that just captured their friendship with each other and their guests.

Together since high school it was a day filled with stories of the past and how everyone knew we’d one day be here celebrating their marriage.

A wholesome, family filled wedding at Dunglass Estate for E & T ☀️

Glorious sunshine, cold Scottish winds, and a historic chapel with shafts of light cascading down over the newly married couple.

A gorgeous venue to take photographs at with opportunities all over the landscape from the farmhouse, courtyard, chapel, sea view, fields of sheep and fire pit. Beautiful, relaxed and yet traditional too 🌊

I cannot wait to be back here at the end of this week - yay!

Tattoos, Vivienne Westwood, and classic cars 🌹

R & H’s wedding at Casterton Grange was one I won’t forget in a hurry.

A riotous joy from start to finish. I just adore it when people pour their personality into their day. It just feels so good 🤘🏻

Literally cannot wait for their films scans…🤤

And not a kilt or quaich in sight…it was funny how glaring a difference that was for me being Scottish. Two countries so close to each other but culturally so different!

I’m crossing the border a few times this year and I can’t wait to experience more new venues and places. Yorkshire is a beautiful place for a wedding that’s for sure 🦢

Let’s go through a captured wedding day together, so you know what to expect from me as your photographer!

From morning til night! I’ll be there, alert and anticipating little moments as they unfold. Some weddings I’m more involved and guiding, posing, prompting. And others, I’m stepping back and just observing. But either way, I’ll be there, documenting little moments you might forget and the big moments you won’t.

For a standard Scottish full day wedding I arrive in the morning around 10.30am for morning preparations and leave around 9pm at night after the dancing has kicked off. But I can be there for any length in between.

C & D’s wedding at Springkell House was a perfect example of documentary style photography with a little splash of 35mm film which is my absolute favourite to capture.
