Billy has submitted this outstanding shot from the summit of Ben Lomond, 'I ascend with my bike to capture the perfect moment. While the climb can be challenging, the descent is always rewarding. On this occasion, I pursued a temporary temperature inversion and successfully arrived in time before it dissipated.'

Billy Beetroot's entry into EKCC FINAL Non Members competition is a breathtaking shot of a walk up Ben Arthur, a majestic hill that commands attention and inspires awe. Needs no introduction really, this iconic hill has been etched in the hearts of many, a testament to the beauty of nature. Alone or with friends, it doesn’t matter, the experience is just as surreal. Very hard to describe the beauty that unfolds with each step, as the scenery changes and the atmosphere shifts, but one thing is certain - it's an adventure that will leave you spellbound. The rugged terrain, the majestic views, the sense of accomplishment when you reach the top - it's an experience that will stay with you forever.
