When we think about magical childhoods, it is easy to imagine grand adventures and extraordinary experiences.
Yet when people look back on their childhood, that is rarely what they remember most.
They remember the people.
That special person who always had time for one more story, the one who listened carefully to their endless questions, who turned everyday moments into something special simply by being fully present.
Childhood magic is often found in the smallest places.
A hand held while crossing the road. or that favourite bedtime routine.
What about the walk that took twice as long because there were interesting things to discover along the way.
These moments may seem ordinary at the time, yet they become the memories that stay with us.
The people who make childhood magical are not usually performing magic - they are doing something far more powerful. They are helping a child feel safe, loved, and deeply valued, and that is something children carry with them long after childhood has passed 🤍
What magical moments spring to mind from your childhood? There were so many for me but off the top of my head it would be playing endless board games and our nan letting us win because she felt mean if she beat us 💜
