Karen trained for a year at the Sir John Cass School, of art London and then went on to train as a teacher and has successfully worked as both artist and teacher over the past years. Karen had her first exhibition when she was 17 years old and since then, she has worked as an artist in residence at the Hilton Hotel and at the annual MazdaArtWorks Exhibition in Auckland, New Zealand resulting in her artworks being sold internationally. High Force in county Durham.
The noise when you visit this place is tremendous especially when the river is in flood.
Just off the easel still drying. It'll be at the framers next month.
Which other northeastern England places do you think I should look at?

Something different for day 7 of my challenge to post some art for 10 days.
This is from about 10 years ago.
This is Barry who wanted his portrait on 'calendar girls style' with cans of diet Coke.
He told me that he drank a LOT of this all the time, and the artificial sweetener in it was possibly the cause of his terminal cancer.
Definitely one of the strangest commissions that I've done.
Bless you, Barry.

Day6 of the challenge to post some art every day for 10 days.
"Freedom flight" oil on canvas.
This was painted while I lived in New Zealand about 25 years ago. It was bought from a gallery by somebody who lived in Singapore. It's always been one of my favorites inspired by Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach.

Day 5 of posting some art every day for 10 days. "Winter, she's sleeping". Can you see her?She IS there in the picture.
