Started with a monster sketch… ended it because my brain wanted a break from this week’s book focus lol.

Ended up starting to doodle a tiny British‑medieval village instead — rolling hills, big central church, small main street and full Miss Marple / Midsomer Murders vibes.

🎉 Big News from Monsters of the British Realms! 🎉

After weeks of discovering, writing, coffee‑drinking and lore‑crafting… my first draft is DONE!

That’s 44 pages of monsters, myths, mischief and magic, all wrapped up in a pocket‑sized A5 guide you can take anywhere.
It’s packed with 10+ creatures, complete with artwork, stats, lore and that slightly creepy, but out there vibe I grew up loving in media — think 2000s Doctor Who with a splash of Goosebumps books and Horrible Histories, with some of the interesting facts I’ve learnt too.

Morning everyone! New week ahead!

This week I’ll be finishing my Create‑A‑Monster section and the final part of my Practical Toolkit in the book. After that, it’s tidy‑up time and then straight into the fun creature drawings and illustrations!

Nothing planned yet — I’ll figure something out on the day, maybe a fun poll — but I’m keeping these days mostly free so I can focus on writing.

A fun little artwork drop — whatever my mind feels like doing that day!

I’m bringing back the free creative location card 📍 — it’s been a few weeks, but I’m excited to get one out again!

Wrapping up a massive creative weekend! ✍️📚

Not just maps — I finished the page numbers, the table of contents, AND built a whole ‘Create‑A‑Monster’ dice section so you can make your own creature too! 🎲👹

Today I’m finishing the name generator and drafting the mission creator.

It’s all shaping up to be a proper little A5 pocket bestiary! 📖✨

The Noccel Line is finally here! 🌊🗺️

Inspired by the Scottish island ranges, each map in this series is left open for your own interpretation — a scatter of names and places where stories can grow in any direction.

I’ve put together the full journey: from the first tiny sketch, to the rough map, to the final piece. I honestly can’t believe that one quick drawing of a small little settlement has grown into a whole island. ✏️➡️🏝️

There’s something about the Scottish landscape that just gives me so much inspiration, honestly. Its windswept hills, mountains rising above the clouds, woodlands full of life… the landscape and the history together just send my artistic mind running. 🌄🌲✨

And now that little spark has turned into a whole new map series. Can’t wait to show you the rest. 🤍

This piece is fully hand‑painted with watercolour and ink, featuring rugged coastlines, winding paths, scattered settlements, and atmospheric landmarks shaped by the surrounding sea.

It’s designed to be open‑ended, letting you drop any quest, mystery, or story into its landscape. Perfect for TTRPG sessions, writers, and worldbuilders.
