💍 Tomorrow marks our 11th wedding anniversary! The night before, I captured our wedding dinner at our fabulous venue Towers working along side our photographer Pete Bristo with his training days, and eventually leading to launching my own business in 2023.

Yesterday’s office view looked a little different… 🏁

A brilliant day out at Silverstone watching the MotoGP bikes fly past, making the most of the school holidays with the family.

But even when I’m enjoying a family day out, I’m never too far away from the day job — always on hand for clients when needed.

Work-life balance… with a bit of horsepower thrown in! 🏍️

I get asked from vendors to be the photographer for a style shoot. I simply decline and here’s why.

The answer is simple: it doesn’t align with why I photograph weddings.

A styled shoot is beautifully curated. Every detail is planned, every moment is repeated until it’s perfect, and there’s no time pressure. It’s content designed to be shared.

A wedding day couldn’t be more different.

I have a small window of time to capture everything that matters. The hugs that happen unexpectedly. The tears no one saw coming. The laughter between speeches. The grandparents on the dance floor. Hundreds of moments that can never be recreated.

All while working around the great British weather, changing light, timelines that run late, and the beautifully unpredictable nature of real weddings.
