October Dorset wedding and think it’s too late to have a videographer capture your day? 😫

Think again! 😃

My diary runs a little differently, and where I work with touring musicians it sometimes means I have availability a bit closer to the dates than some videographers who tend to book further in advance.

Whatever reasons you haven’t booked your videographer yet, it’s definitely worth asking the question and hopefully I’ll be able to capture your wedding day.

Photographs beautifully capture what your wedding day looked like. Video captures what it felt like 🥰

The laughter during the speeches. The emotion in your vows. The applause after your first kiss. The voice of someone you love telling you how proud they are.

These are the moments that simply can’t be preserved in a photograph and it’s definitely something to think about when you’re planning your wedding.

If you’re planning an August wedding in Dorset for 2027 or 2028, you’ve picked a fantastic time of year to celebrate 🍾

The countryside is at its most vibrant, the coastline is full of life and the long summer days provide plenty of opportunities to enjoy time outside with your loved ones.

August also has some of the most beautiful evening light for wedding films. As the sun begins to set a little earlier than peak summer, golden hour creates a warm, romantic backdrop that’s perfect for capturing those quiet moments together after the excitement of the day.

And with family and friends often taking summer holidays, it’s a month that can make travelling to your wedding a little easier too.
