Mooredge Road, Matlock, Derbyshire

I had visited a couple of locations to try and get a nice vantage point for the eclipse and decided on this spot. I originally planned just the one photo with the eclipse at maximum just above the Crich Memorial Tower. I decided the day before to do a composite, which, in turn, took a bit of planning as to timings and which focal length to use. I arrived with my friend, Brian, early to hopefully beat any other like-minded individuals to the spot, but, as it turned out, it was just us! I think it turned out quite well in the end..

The universal language of pop

After photographing flowers, I wondered what else I could photograph, then I spotted some bubble wrap! Placed it in the lightbox with some scrunched-up tin foil behind it. Really pleased with the results.
