Can you believe STAN SEATON PHOTOGRAPHY is 🎂🎉 20 years🎉🎂 old this month? We certainly can't remember where all those years have gone.

We have started to reminisce about all the lovely people we have met over the years, and our amazing experiences.

When we started out 20 years ago, many people told us you must be mad starting your own business, do you know how many fail in the first 1, 2, 5 years. Well we proved them wrong and here we are, still loving what we do and meeting new people every day.

Watch this space because we may be sharing just a few of the images we have found recently. If you have a favourite tale from your Stan Seaton Photography experience please remind us, it will probably be something Stan said or did!! 🤣🤣🤣 Jane's medal ➡️ 🎖️

We aren't photographing weddings anymore but it's always great to catch up with the people whose weddings we did photograph and now we have the pleasure of continuing to capture their growing families. We are concentrating on photographing babies and families in the studio or on location and capturing gorgeous memories for new clients as well. ❤️

We often are asked do you have any props? So you asked and we listened, but we need your help!

"What's your favourite animal?"

"UNICORN" Rose was very sure about that and suddenly Stan was an expert on Unicorns.🦄🦄🦄

Being a children's photographer means you have to be able to connect with your little subject and if that means getting excited about Unicorns that that's simply what you have to do. 😂🥰

Are your children as happy as this?

When considering a family photo, many clients worry that their children just won't settle or will be too shy.

Mum and Dad of these three gorgeous smiley girls would be the first to tell you that this photo wasn't as easy as it looked.

We Totally understand the pyschology of children and that every little one that comes through the door is different to the last child we photographed. There is always the possibility that they have had a bad night, are struggling with troublesome teeth or just not have their mojo today.😔

Little Alba had just woken up the first time she came into the studio and although she warmed up for solo photos, having one with her sisters was not an option. So a week later the family came back to the studio and this is what we shot nearly straight away. We know that patience and perseverance pays off and are happy to take as long as it needs for your children to settle and to get you the images you are looking for.

So don't feel stressed if at first things aren't going to plan, together we can do this! 🥰

Ralph and Jude popped into the studio to test out our new background. It was great to see two brothers getting along so well! Thanks to Mum Tracey Wrangham-Swales from dressing them perfectly and bringing them in.
