Charity Day ❤️⚽️

We’ll soon be looking for an opponent to face on a special charity day hosted by ourselves in memory of a close friend of the gaffa who sadly passed away a couple of years ago.

We want to make it a great day, bring the football community together and raise as much money as possible for two fantastic causes:

🚁 Great North Air Ambulance
🏔️ Patterdale Mountain Rescue

We’ll be looking for a team who would be willing to come along, play a game and help us make the day one to remember. ❤️

The date and location are yet to be confirmed, but we’ll be in touch with any teams who are interested and willing to help us raise as much as we can.

More details will follow once we’ve got everything organised.

📸🎤 Something a little different for Jordan Hodgson Photography!

I headed down to Bobby’s Pool, Snooker & Darts Club in Darlington to spend some time with the Bishop Auckland FC First Team.

A massive thank you to Rob Moncur, owner of Bobby’s, for the opportunity, and to everyone at Bishop Auckland FC for making me feel welcome.

This was a first for me as I conducted two interviews—one with Bishop Auckland FC skipper Gary Martin and another with assistant manager Deano Brown. Both were brilliant and made my first experience of interviewing a lot easier!

It was also great personally to catch up with Deano, who was actually my coach when I progressed from kids’ football into adult football. ⚽

I also grabbed a few photos of the lads enjoying the pool and darts. 🎱🎯

🏆⚽ PLAYER OF THE MATCH | WILL STOKOE ⚽🏆

Absolutely buzzing to have presented my FIRST EVER Player of the Match award as sponsor! 📸🏆

And what a lad to give it to — Will Stokoe! 👏

Will put in an absolute belter of a shift at centre back. Solid as a rock, throwing himself about, winning everything and basically making my job of finding a decent photo look easy! 😂💪

As the sponsor, it was class to be able to hand Will the trophy and see him get the recognition he deserved. Fully deserved, kidda! 👏🏆

Now… about the photos. 😂🌧️

Before anyone asks — NO, I haven’t discovered a new “wet look” editing technique. The heavens just decided to absolutely leather us! 🌧️😂

Between the rain, the wind and trying to keep the camera dry, it was more like Jordan Hodgson Photography meets Bear Grylls! 😂📸

But we got there, and most importantly, we got the shots!

Congratulations Will — absolutely deserved, mate! 🏆👏

Here’s to plenty more Player of the Match awards… hopefully with a bit less rain next time! 😂🌧️

📸⚽ SUNDAY LEAGUE THROUGH THE LENS ⚽📸
Another Sunday morning spent doing what I love! 📷
Today, Jordan Hodgson Photography was back on the sidelines capturing Harrowgate Social Club FC’s opening-day 2–1 victory over Crook Rangers FC! 🔵⚫
A close, competitive game with plenty of action to capture — big tackles, crucial saves, celebrations and some quality football along the way.
And then there was THAT goal from Al ‘Shakey’ Stevens… 🚀🤯
A volley from around 25 yards that looked like it was heading about 10 yards over the bar before somehow dipping like mad and flying into the net! 😂🔥 Safe to say, that one made for a decent opening-day highlight!
Connor Armstrong grabbed the other goal to secure the 2–1 win and all three points for the Hill. 💪⚽
Always a pleasure being behind the camera following the lads and capturing the moments that make Sunday League football what it is. 📸
