Some mums-to-be arrive a little nervous.

By the end of the session, so many of them say the same thing: it was the first time in months they had truly stopped.

There's something quietly special about a maternity session. In the calm of our Copthorne studio, with nothing to do but breathe and be photographed, the world slows right down. A mother, glowing and still, in the last stretch before everything changes.

It's only afterwards that many realise what that time really was. The final pocket of stillness before baby arrives. A fleeting, precious pause that deserves to be held and remembered.
