Amazing first day of Cowes Week. The wind didn't fill in till early afternoon. So race offericers had to improvise some short courses. Bringing all the day boat fleets right past Egypt Point.

Just having a look through my archive. Found some pics from the 2001 Americas Cup Jubilee. This is a favourite.

A few pictures from the Round the Island Race from Steam Ship Shieldhall. Unfortunately the fleet stalled off Ventnor due to tide, so we didn't get to see the bulk of the boats. On the upside I got the first boat home, which I usually miss because I'm normally in a RIB off The Needles. Fantastic day out on Shieldhall, many thanks to all the crew and volunteers.
