I almost didn’t share these ☺️
Back in February, we spent a winter weekend in the Lake District and I created this series of self portraits - quiet, experimental, a little different from what I usually show here. And if I’m honest, I kept skipping over them ever since. I told myself they might confuse people, that they don’t clearly say what I offer.
But the truth is… some of my favourite client inquiries have come from work like this. The slower, more contemplative moments.
Recently, I came across a thought that stayed with me: “It might not work, but if you’re not trying, it won’t work for sure.”
So this is me trying🙂, sharing more of both my personal and client work, even when it feels a little vulnerable.
And honestly, it would be such a shame to keep this one hidden. This weekend, these images came with frozen fingers, a lot of deep breaths, and a fair bit of determination 😄 (and endless sips from my tea infuser bottle from that kept me just about warm enough to keep going).
Now I’d love to hear from you ⛰️
Have you ever been to the Lake District? Do you have a favourite spot I should add to my list for next time?
