Hey lovely people,
I wanted to share a little life + business update with you all. The photography side of my life has slowed down a fair bit this year due to my other work commitments, and honestly I have been longing to find the time to mentally throw myself back into this- my passion. In recent months I had a horse riding accident which left me with a broken back. It’s been a huge shock and honestly such a strange, slow season of forced rest for me. But in a way, it’s also been a bit of a blessing — it’s given me the time and space to really pause and reflect on my photography business in a way I haven’t let myself before.
For a while now I’ve felt that Silhouette Photography doesn’t quite fit me anymore. It’s been such a big part of my journey, but it just doesn’t resonate with where I’m at or where I want to go. During this time off, I’ve realised my little business has been quietly calling out for a rebrand and a refresh — and now I finally have the chance to give it that.
So, what’s next? I’ll be creating new exciting packages and make things more accessible, and most importantly, making everything more client-focused. I want the whole experience to feel even more thoughtful, special, and true to the style of photography I love most. And with that comes a new name and a clearer vision that feels more “me.”
One thing I’m especially excited about is offering in-home sessions — because honestly, what better place to capture your brand new baby than in the comfort and warmth of your own home? Those first cuddles, the quiet little details, and the natural love you share are so much more meaningful when photographed where your family feels most at ease.
