Come along to our summer exhibition!

The last weekend to visit is the Chorley Flower Show: 31st July, 1st & 2nd August 11.30-2.30

During the flower show you can only access the park, café and gallery with wristbands which can be purchased in advance on the Flower Show website

Venue: Coach House Gallery (above Cafe Ambio), Astley Park, Chorley, PR7 1XA

Come along to see the wide range of prints produced by members of Chorley Photographic Society - one of the UK’s premier photography clubs. We were founded back in 1894 when photography was young, and we are still at the forefront of photography – some of our members winning awards regionally, nationally and internationally!

Chorley Photographic Society can provide guidance and help to photographers of any ability - our members have a wide array of skills and knowledge, ranging from the “keen to learn” beginner through to the professional.
We are committed to the advancement of photography as a craft and an art form, while promoting friendship, cooperation, and the exchange of ideas among members.

The exhibition will feature over 80 framed prints, which show a variety of photographic genres and have been produced by a large number of our members.

If anybody is interested in buying some secondhand studio lighting equipment - somebody has contacted me with some to sell. There are three men’s studio lights with stands and triggers, they’re also a number of soft boxes umbrellas et cetera all for £275. Let me know if you may be interested.

There are several annual competitions organised by the PAGB that Chorley PS is invited to contend. These are the pinnacle of uk club photography competitions and all of the top clubs are challenging for the prizes on offer. It was brought to my attention earlier that the calendar on the website was not working. I’ve looked into it and the app needed replacing after an update. It now appears to be working but may look a bit different, please let me know if it doesn’t work for you.
