We had a great time earlier today taking photos at the dress rehearsal for the Chorley Youth Theatre production of 'Shrek Jr The Musical' which opens this week at Chorley Theatre.

Horwich Amateur Theatre Society had an outstanding standing ovation to their final show last night!

They had the audience up on their feet dancing and jiving away at the end of the night so to take away those Sunday morning post show 'Blue' Suede Shoes feelings here are some more pictures from act 2 to relive those memories of what has been a fantastic production of live musical theatre.

Horwich Amateur Theatre Society are travelling back in time to the 1950's! We went along to the first dress rehearsal to capture the amazing musical show that they are performing this week!

This crowd-pleasing musical is inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis PresleyĀ®.

Itā€™s 1955, and into a square little town in a square little state rides a guitar-playing young man who changes everything and everyone he meets in this hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy thatā€™ll have you jumpinā€™ out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as ā€œHeartbreak Hotel,ā€ ā€œJailhouse Rock,ā€ and ā€œDonā€™t Be Cruel.ā€
