In your own home or out in the wild! Based in Somerset/Wiltshire, we, Milca & Andy, are a husband and wife team who absolutely love what we do. We have a combined personality that makes us easy to work, laugh and cry with. Most people hate having their photograph taken and making YOU feel comfortable is something that we excel at. We both love to knit, cook, try new hobbies (usually fueled by a Pinterest binge), meet new people and teach!

I am lucky enough to call this mother my friend. Watching her with her baby girl gives me so much joy. She is strong, independent, smart and beautiful and every time a challenge comes her way, she rises to the occasion and forges ahead. She makes the most delicious curries, laughs loudly and loves fiercely.

(Full gallery on the link in our profile): Community Spirit - that's something that's been evident since we moved here in October. This event was no exception. We enjoyed meeting lots of local people and representatives, along with people in some very official roles, robes and shiny bling.

Thank you to our new Mayor, Cllr Tricia O'Brien for being such a lovely person to spend the afternoon photographing and to everyone who came together to make it such a nice event, especially the group who had Mimi in tears with their singing - absolutley beautiful!

This week’s review is for Nest & Fable. Highlighting the businesses that support Health & Remedy

You might wonder how much two local photographers can really do to support a town, but in the case of Milca and Andy from Nest & Fable, the answer is A LOT! 📸

They seem to be everywhere; fêtes, parades, events and gatherings around Chard, capturing the moments that would otherwise be gone in a flash. Their photos have popped up all over the place and they have created a brilliant record of so many things happening locally.

More recently, they have been photographing local businesses for a charity calendar, somehow finding time in their already busy schedules to make us all look good! They are not taking a penny for their time, meaning even more money from the calendar can go to Chard Community Hub ❤️

And finally, they practise what they preach. Milca and Andy genuinely shop local and you will regularly spot them wandering up and down Chard, popping into businesses, having a chat and generally spreading a bit of joy wherever they go.

Two lovely people, a fantastic local business and exactly the sort of community spirit we love shouting about.

Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nearly 500 photos in the gallery! Well, well, Wells, what do we have here? Only a ginormous flag on the green, carried proudly through the city by members and allies of the LGBTQ+ community from all over. Thank you to Wells Pride for inviting us along as the official photographers. What an honour. As proud allies, we welcome any opportunity to show our support.

On that note - any photos you buy from this gallery for just £5 each, result in a donation of £1 on our part to Somerset - we'll add that to the tally from Martock and send the donation in at the end of this month, so get to helping not just our small business, but a local charity too!

If you'd like to purchase your digital photograph(s), you can do so directly through the gallery and £1 from every digital photo purchased before the 20th of August will go towards purchasing necessary items for Chard Community Hub . Thank you all for your support!

If using on socials, please credit/tag us as Nest & Fable. We are a new local business. We moved to Chard in October and reestablished our business (after 11 busy years in Ireland) in April, so we could use all of the support that we can get!

New friends, traditions and foods - becoming part of the furniture at Rinkle's and learning new phrases in her language, tasting different foods and discovering traditions with her lovely family has been lovely. Andy and I have been welcomed with open arms and were invited to the family party for Rianna's 2nd birthday yesterday. What a treat! Thank you to everyone for always making us feel so welcome and laughing with us
