Oliver is a 27 yr old young man fast achieving his dream of being a professional wildlife and landscape photographer. Oliver happens to have Down Syndrome and we seek to ensure that this doesn't stop him from achieving his dream. Mike is Oliver's stepfather (Oliver's biological father chose to have no c

ontact with his son) and Mike is also a photographer who shares so many 'loves' and 'interests' with Oliver. They both love wildlife, the countryside, fishing, all things marine, bird watching and at about 11 yrs old Oliver started to want to take photos 'like Mike'. Mike's patience and targeted tuition and guidance has enabled Oliver to enjoy and utilise the world of photography as both a tool for him to record what he sees in the way he sees it, and also as something which brings him a sense of achievement and self esteem. Oliver's photography provides his own unique perspective on the world and he hopes to be able to further his photography to a point where it can be his full form of income. Oliver uses a Canon 5D Mark 111 Camera and favours two lenses -a Canon 100-400mm and a Canon 17-40mm

Oliver is starting to get rather excited becasue on JULY 5th he will celebrate his 30TH Birthday!! It's still 4 weeks away but he's already wanting an exact and detailed itinerary of all the things we have planned for both before and after 😂 Honestly his big birthday is going to last at least a fortnight!
As part of the celebrations we thought it would be lovely to update and reproduce the little booklet we used to have about Oliver a few years ago. It was always a popular seller for parents and families, and often bought by Centres for children with additional needs and even hospital clinics etc, as a colourful bright little piece of optimism and something to bring people - especially new parents or parents with young children, hope and encouragement. Parents often bought them for their child's school too as it's a nice little thing for children to look at, and even as a little gift for your child's school support assistant.
Anyway I've just about finished designing and putting together the extra pages to bring it up to date and we will be sending it off to the printers next week. Fingers crossed it comes out as nice as the old ones did. It will be a 30 page A5 booklet and we will show you what they look like when we have them. HERE THEY ARE!!! Some of Oliver's new Greetings Cards!!
Oh we are just SO pleased with these 🥰
Oliver's favourite is the Great Spotted Woodpecker, and I think mine might be the stunning white Hydrangeas. (Though I do keep changing my mind, but then I come back to the lovely white blooms again and again - it is such a beautiful card)

Sometimes when we have Oliver's images printed as cards, we are a little disappointed with the odd one here and there, if we don't feel the colours are 'quite' perfect. But honestly this time, with this collection, we are happy with them ALL!!
A couple of them are ones we have had before but run out of because they were so popular, Oh and at the end we have a few new Christmas ones too.
We are very happy ☺️😊🥰 and Oliver is hoping for lots of addresses he can read when we check to see how many orders he might get!!

TEN HOURS!!!
Remember earlier this week we said Oliver was excited because he was going to get the chance to possibly photograph something he has never seen or photographed before?
Well our awesome Oliver SMASHED IT!!
He spent TEN HOURS in a hide - yes ten whole hours!
And he was so pleased, so excited and so proud, to capture fabulous images of the cutest fox cubs you ever did see! 🥰❤️
He took over… wait for it…. Over 1700 pictures!
So as you can imagine, it is taking a long time to go through them all, especially as they are interspersed with Kestrel pictures too!! 😂
But in the meantime, here are just a few fox cub pictures to get you started

Sorry, we haven’t been posting much lately! We’ve had a lot going on and been rather busy, but that doesn’t mean Oliver hasn’t been taking pictures for you all 🥰 He’s very happy that there are now lots of flowers around, and he loves being outside ❤️ Tomorrow he’s hoping to get some pictures of an animal he has never captured before… he is very excited! Fingers crossed that he manages it and we can show you later in the week!! 🤞

Happy ONE HUNDREDTH Birthday to the absolute GIFT of a human that is David Attenborough 😍
Oliver has been glued to David Attenborough programmes on the TV ever since before he could even walk or talk.
And similar to hundreds of thousands of children right across our entire planet, Oliver has grown up with a sense of wonder and profound appreciation of the Natural World, which has helped shape the person he is today.
Back in 2014 the wonderful award winning Photographer Jasper Doest took the trouble to seek out David Attenborough at the 50th Anniversary celebration of the 'Wildlife Photographer of the Year' awards. He explained who Oliver was and asked if David would sign a card for Oliver. And that card has remained one of Oliver's most prized and teasured posessions.
We have a photograph of Oliver on the day he received his parcel of treasure from dear Jasper - a very young looking Oliver! - and a photo of him with his card today. We also have a picture of Jasper getting the card signed by David at the event.
Thankyou David for being such a gift to the world, and we wish you, the very best and most wonderful of Birthdays.
Isn't life just wonderful 🥰❤

Two lovely pictures Oliver took at Cenarth Falls during our Welsh holiday recently ❤🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿He sat down to take them because he was a bit nervous of standing at the edge or leaning over the railings as you can see from my poor quality pics (taken with my old phone! - but I wanted you to see! 🥰)
