Oliver is a 27 yr old young man fast achieving his dream of being a professional wildlife and landscape photographer. Oliver happens to have Down Syndrome and we seek to ensure that this doesn't stop him from achieving his dream. Mike is Oliver's stepfather (Oliver's biological father chose to have no c

ontact with his son) and Mike is also a photographer who shares so many 'loves' and 'interests' with Oliver. They both love wildlife, the countryside, fishing, all things marine, bird watching and at about 11 yrs old Oliver started to want to take photos 'like Mike'. Mike's patience and targeted tuition and guidance has enabled Oliver to enjoy and utilise the world of photography as both a tool for him to record what he sees in the way he sees it, and also as something which brings him a sense of achievement and self esteem. Oliver's photography provides his own unique perspective on the world and he hopes to be able to further his photography to a point where it can be his full form of income. Oliver uses a Canon 5D Mark 111 Camera and favours two lenses -a Canon 100-400mm and a Canon 17-40mm

THANKYOU! To everyone who has ordered Oliver's new calendars and for all the lovely messages we've had afterwards too! Bless you all! Also a big shoutout and thankyou to everyone who came to support Oliver at the Blackdown Food and Craft fayre on Sunday. Wow he did so well! And basically spent the whole day being told by everyone how wonderful and talented he is! 🤣🥰

A few more woodland birds for you today from Oliver's recent visit to Cumbria. Oh and by the way, the great spotted woodpecker image which you all loved so much the other day when we put up a whole host of woodpecker pictures (shown at the end of this set) is now available as a print after so many requests!

OH MY!! Oliver’s supporters you are all awesome!! That last post worked and you all sharing and commenting and ‘favouriting’ Oliver’s page kept raising the visibility of the post so that more and more people saw it! We’ve had messages from people saying ‘gosh I hadn’t seen anything from Oliver for months!’
And the orders for Oliver’s Calendars and cards etc have just flooded in much to Oliver’s pride and joy!
Here are just a few piled up before they headed to the post office yesterday. More the day before, and more today ready for posting on Monday.

Hello everyone!! This is me (Mum, Wendy) and my lovely Oliver, and we are here to ask for your help!!!

We are really struggling at the moment to get Oliver’s Facebook posts seen by all the people who used to see them.

We know the dreaded algorithms are becoming more and more geared up against pages like ours especially if we try and promote anything, and we know it’s not just us! But 2026 really is the worst year yet. You’re all disappearing and we miss you!! 🥰

If you click on Oliver’s actual page and check our recent posts you will see that the last two posts were particularly to let everyone know that Oliver’s 2027 calendars are now ready and available. Usually, as soon as we do this, Oliver is flooded with orders - but would you like the honest number of how many he has received so far? Twelve. Twelve orders.
We are very grateful for those twelve and a big thankyou to you lovely people!
It’s just that a couple of years ago we’d be spending several days packing up over a hundred!

We often get comments and messages from people telling us they just don’t see Oliver’s posts any more , some even asking if Oliver is alright!!

So if you could please do two things for us?
Firstly: If you could click on Oliver’s actual page (at the head of this post) and then tap the three dots ( . . . ) near the top of the page next to the follow button, then select ‘Follow Settings’ or ‘Favourites’ and choose ‘Favourite’
Secondly: If you could scroll down through Oliver’s page to the first or second post promoting Oliver’s calendars, and comment and/or share the post, that would be SO helpful. And the more comments shares or even likes, Oliver’s posts get, the more visible they will become.

We are so grateful to you all, Oliver relies on you all to be able to pursue his photography. And the support and following he has, means such a lot to him, and gives him such a sense of confidence and self esteem, we cannot even begin to describe to you how much his ‘career’ as a photographer has changed his life! 🥰❤️

Oliver is eager to hear your thoughts!

The format is the same as always, - Every month features a full A4 page of wonderful colourful images of birds, animals, landscapes etc all captured by our talented amazing Oliver!

The calendar is A4 size when closed, so when it is hanging up it becomes an A3 size with an A4 page dedicated to Oliver's images plus a full A4 sheet for all the dates of that month, and a good sized box for every day so you have room to write all those important events, appointment dates and activities etc

As always, at the end of the calendar there is a brief outline of Oliver's life so that his positive story can be passed onward with every calendar which is given as a gift.

We have even found that we get messages from people asking if Oliver is alright because they haven’t seen any of his posts for ages!!!
