My niece and I had a wonderful time at Oxford Island on Saturday with the BTO British Trust of Ornithology NI nature day.
We enjoyed the interactive quizzes and activities, and even the food was fantastic. We got to see a Sedge Warbler getting a leg ring attached, and learned how to identify bird calls and even recognise different species of plants too.
I even managed to get my first "decent" shot (still needs work) of a beautiful Great Crested Grebe! I'll share a few more photos through the week, as I've had a lot on lately.
