The second half of the year always seems to fly by.

One minute we’re enjoying summer evenings, and the next we’re wrapping up in cosy autumn knits and planning Christmas.

For photographers, these next few months are some of the busiest of the year, filled with beautiful family moments, milestone celebrations, seasonal sessions and lots of memories being made 📸

I’ve put together this little guide to what’s coming up between July and November, including some of my special mini sessions and seasonal offerings.

And of course, alongside these, I’m always booking newborn sessions, milestone portraits, cake smashes, family shoots and celebrations of all kinds 🤍

This sweet girl came into the studio to celebrate her 2nd birthday with a Cake Smash session, and she had the BEST time 🥹🎈

It was pure joy from start to finish 🤍

One of the things I love most about photography is getting to capture birthday celebrations at every age.

From first birthdays to 90th birthdays, every milestone tells a story, and every story deserves to be remembered.

Whether it’s a cake smash, a family portrait, or a room filled with the people you love most, these moments matter.

Birthdays aren’t just about getting older- they’re about celebrating life, love, and the people who make it special.

Let me tell you what it’s really like to have me as your wedding photographer.

Yes, you’ll receive beautiful photographs. But long before you receive your gallery, you’ll spend your wedding day with me. 🤍

I’m there to keep things calm when the morning feels busy. To gently guide you when you need direction and step back when you don’t.

During your ceremony, you’ll barely notice me. I’ll be quietly documenting the tears, the laughter, the hand squeezes, and the glances that say everything without a single word.

I’m not there to take over your day or turn it into a photoshoot. I’m there to support you, and make sure your wedding feels exactly like yours.

Want to sneak away for ten minutes of portraits? Perfect. Want to spend every second on the dance floor with your favourite people? Even better. 🥂

There are no rules, no expectations, and no moments too big or too small.

This is your wedding day. Your love, your people, your story. ✨

My job isn’t to dictate how the day should look. It’s to support whatever matters most to you, while quietly documenting it all as it unfolds.

Because years from now, I don’t just want you to remember how everything looked.

Celebrating a first birthday is such a special milestone and a truly momentous occasion for your beautiful baby.

While I absolutely love creating fun, sensory-filled sessions, I also offer a more relaxed experience for those who prefer something a little simpler and more serene.

These sessions are perfect for families who want to keep things calm and natural, while still capturing those gorgeous moments of their little one turning one. We begin with some beautiful family portraits, then let your baby have a little play on the floor, exploring at their own pace.

With a gorgeous wooden cake and a gentle, playful approach, we create the most stunning images- full of personality, connection, and joy.

Who remembers this little guy? 🤍

He first came to see me when he was just a few months old. His lovely mum and dad wanted to capture his very first smile before his cleft lip surgery- before he had his forever smile.

It was the most beautiful, gentle session... he had the cutest little smile and the fuzziest hair 🥹

Fast forward to now, and he's just turned ONE! I was so delighted when they came back to celebrate such a special milestone with new portraits.

He's absolutely thriving, did wonderfully after his surgery, and it was so lovely to see him again- still with the most gorgeous smile ✨

Welcoming your beautiful little one into the studio is always such a special moment 🤍

My newborn sessions are completely baby-led, which means we take things gently, calmly, and entirely at your baby's pace. I allow up to three hours for each session, so there's plenty of time for feeds, cuddles, soothing, and settling- no rush, no pressure, just a relaxed experience for you all. 🥰

The studio is kept warm, cosy, and clean to keep your baby comfortable throughout. And for you, I've got all the little extras covered— nappies, water wipes, a kettle, and a microwave if you need to warm bottles— so you don't have to worry if anything gets forgotten in the whirlwind of those early days. 🥹

You're welcome to sit back, relax, and enjoy a quiet moment while I gently capture these precious first memories. ✨

Welcoming beautiful Blake and sweet Poppy into the studio was an absolute delight 🤍

There's something so special about capturing your whole family together- including the newest little love and, of course, the furry babies too 🐾

I adore creating images that tell the full story of your family, with all the cuddles, chaos, love, and wagging tails included. These moments together are the ones you'll treasure forever ✨

Seeing a baby for the very first time as a newborn is always so special- I’ll never get over those tiny snuggles. But being invited back to capture their entire first year is just incredible 🥰

From his newborn session, to his first Halloween and Christmas, all the way through to celebrating his very first birthday… it has been the biggest joy watching this gorgeous boy grow. Smiley, sweet, and full of personality from day one- every session has been such a pleasure.

Moments like this are exactly why I love what I do 🤍
