Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people and sharing in your milestones, celebrations, and treasured moments through our photography. We’re incredibly grateful for your support and are excited to meet many more of you in the years ahead.

👶✨ Why timing matters for newborn photography ✨👶

Many parents don’t realise that the best time to capture those beautifully sleepy newborn photos is within the first 21 days after birth.

During those early weeks, babies are naturally more settled and love to curl up into those peaceful poses that create timeless newborn images. Tiny details like soft fluffy hair, delicate features and wrinkly newborn skin change incredibly quickly in those first few weeks.

As babies become more alert and active after the first month, sessions tend to focus more on natural expressions and lifestyle-style images rather than the classic sleepy newborn poses.

That’s why Keltic Rose Photography recommend booking your newborn session shortly after your first scan, allowing space to be reserved around your due date so you don’t miss that special window.

What an amazing day I had today with at the Carlisle Cricket Club dig. Found today Copper Alloy perhaps the end of a belt, bones, pottery and a tooth from perhaps a horse or bull. It was also so exciting to see the 80th Intaglia being found and some amazing coins.
