About me:
Photography has always been my lifelong passion. I adore exploring life's moments and capturing them on camera. Iโm inspired by the stories we can tell every day, this became even more clear to me by the birth of my own daughter five years ago. I wanted to hold on to every second of this new life unfolding before me. Initially, it was all about firsts: first smiles,
first steps, first holidays - until I realised there was magic in everyday moments, too. I'm motivated by that magic. A romantic nostalgic at heart, I enjoy whiling away the hours flipping through old family photo albums. It transports me to the past, full of awe and wonder. It's why I love capturing today's memories and preserving them for the future. My Style:
I'm enthused by the simple sweetness of the everyday, the stories of families being themselves. My photography style has been described as natural, expressive and beautiful. I love to capture children and families authentically but making them look stunning at the same time. Whether youโre looking to book a one-off photoshoot, or would like a series to mark your childโs development or new additions to a growing family, I will listen to your needs and create a set of beautiful, bespoke images to treasure long after your children have grown up and flown the nest. My Approach:
To get the most authentic photographs, I allow the children to dictate the flow of the session. Being a mother too, I know how important it is to be patient and calm as a newborn is fed and comforted, or as a toddler slowly sheds his or her camera shyness. Occasionally, I may give some gentle direction to make sure everyone is in the best light. My Facilities:
Working from my home studio in Cardiff, it is a treasure chest of ideas, themes, props, technology and other bits and bobs to ensure that your photo shoot is relaxed, calm, fabulous and perfect in every way. We are also located in the most glorious and picturesque surroundings so full use will be made of these for an outdoor shoot should you desire. Session Types:
