Back to school… and somehow we made it! 😂🎒

Normality is officially returning!

Before the chaos of “Where’s my shoe?” “I can’t find my bag!” and “Muuuuum, I need a drink!” begins… I managed to grab a few photos of my girls this morning ❤️

Because obviously, when you’re a photographer, you can’t let a milestone pass without taking at least a few shots! 📸😂

They’ve grown so much, and I’m very aware that these ordinary little moments are the ones I’ll treasure the most.

Right… time to do the school pickup. Wish me luck! 😂🙈

Family photos don’t have to mean standing in a studio and smiling at the camera. 🌿

This gorgeous family headed into the forest with me for a relaxed outdoor session, and I think it was the perfect setting for capturing them exactly as they are right now.

With teenagers, it’s all about keeping things natural — a little playfighting a little chatting, plenty of laughs, and those moments where nobody is really thinking about the camera.

Because this stage deserves to be documented too. 🤎

They might not be little anymore, but they’re still your babies… just considerably taller and probably much harder to bribe into a family photo! 😂

These are the photographs you’ll look back on in years to come and remember exactly who they were at this age.

The three of them. 🤍

A brand new little family, wrapped up in soft neutrals with the prettiest floral halo for their beautiful baby girl. 🌸

There’s something about these family photographs that gets me every time. In the newborn haze, when you’re tired, living on coffee and wondering how such a tiny person has somehow taken over your entire world… it can be easy to forget to step into the photographs yourselves.

But one day, these are the photographs you’ll look back on.

Mum and Dad as they were when they first became a family of three. Those tiny newborn cuddles. The way she fitted perfectly into their arms.

The details will change, but this moment won't come around again. 🤍

Soft neutrals, a beautiful floral halo and the sweetest little knitted romper… 🤍🌸

This little girl was an absolute dream to photograph.

I love how simple styling can make a newborn gallery feel so timeless. No need for lots of props or bright colours — just beautiful textures, soft tones and that gorgeous little face taking centre stage.

And that floral halo? 😍 I think she may have just found her crown.

Newborn photography is all about capturing these tiny details before they change — the little expressions, the curled-up toes, those teeny fingers and all the things you’ll want to remember years from now.

Okay, so this little guy was NOT exactly a “tiny newborn” 😂💙

A proper big baby with the sweetest little face, and honestly, I could have photographed those cheeks all day!

There’s something so special about photographing these first few weeks — whether they’re teeny tiny or already giving you some serious baby weight! 😂

And before you know it, those cheeks will be even bigger, the little fingers will be grabbing everything in sight, and this sleepy newborn stage will feel like a lifetime ago.

If you’re expecting a baby and want to freeze these fleeting first days, newborn sessions are best booked during pregnancy, with your actual session taking place when baby is around 5–21 days old.

Those tiny smiles don't last forever... 🤍

The newborn stage passes in the blink of an eye, which is why I always recommend booking your session during pregnancy. That way, once your little one arrives, everything is already planned and all you need to do is turn up and enjoy the experience.

My studio is full of soft, neutral wraps, delicate headbands and timeless styling, creating images that won't go out of fashion and will look just as beautiful on your walls years from now.

When Mum arrived at the studio, she unpacked not one... not two... but ELEVEN beautifully hand-knitted cardigans. 🥹🩷

"How on earth is this little lady ever going to wear all of these... especially in this weather?!" ☀️😂

But they were far too special to stay folded away in a drawer.

So instead, we turned them into something she'll be able to treasure forever. Every tiny cardigan, lovingly knitted with so much care, arranged in a rainbow around the newest member of the family. 🤍

Photographs aren't just about capturing your baby. They're about preserving the little things that tell your family's story—the gifts, the love, the effort, and the memories that might otherwise be forgotten.

I have a feeling this will be one image they'll smile at for many, many years to come. 💕

✨ Some of you might remember this gorgeous mum from her beautiful maternity session... and now she's back, with the most precious little baby girl in her arms. 🩷

It is always such a privilege to be part of these moments. Watching families grow and seeing familiar faces return with their newest little love never gets old.
