Total Solar Eclipse, Valencia, 12/08/26
📸 Leica Camera UK cl at 56mm, photo every 4 minutes during the partial phases with a Baader Planetarium solar filter. Background image and totality shot in single frame and then partial phases layered on top to show the progression of the eclipse.
📸 Canon UK and Ireland r6mkii at 600mm, exposed for the solar atmosphere. No filter, colours are as out of camera - the golden light comes from the sun being low in the sky
Same setup as the previous shot but this time exposed for the solar prominences, the biggest one being easily visible to the eye, and approximately 5 times the height of Earth. Colours also as straight out of camera!
