Creatives across the UK — this one’s for you.

Would you like to host your own photo walks in your local area?

We’re opening this up through Social Photography.

You plan the route. You bring the people together.
We help grow the community around you.

And here’s the important part:
You keep 100% of all ticket sales. Every single penny goes directly to you.

This isn’t about us taking a cut.
This is about building something bigger — a real, nationwide photography community — and supporting the people who help make that happen.

No pressure to teach.
No experience running events needed.
Just a passion for photography/videography and bringing people together.

If you’re interested, send me a message and let’s talk.

Let’s build something across the UK.

This video explains the Social Photography Monthly Meets — a relaxed photography community where people come together to connect through photography, share ideas, and meet other creatives.

The monthly meets are designed to be welcoming, informal, and open to everyone. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a complete beginner, shooting on a phone, or using professional camera gear. The aim is simple: create a place where photographers can meet, talk, and become part of a supportive creative community.

These meets are not a booking system or a structured event. They are a regular meeting point for the community. On the first Saturday of every month at 1pm, photographers know there is a place they can turn up, meet others, and connect through photography.

Some months many people may attend, other months it might be quieter — and that’s completely fine. This is your community, and it grows and thrives through the people who choose to take part.

Members are encouraged to introduce themselves, share their QR codes, connect before and after the meets, and organise shoots, photowalks, and collaborations themselves. Social Photography provides the meeting point — the community brings it to life.

We currently host monthly meets in:

Cambridge – Cambridge Central Library
London – The Photographers’ Gallery Café
Newcastle – Café 16

More locations will be added as the community continues to grow.

If you’d like to be part of the Social Photography community, simply come along to one of the monthly meets and introduce yourself.

Live music. Local venues. Independent artists. Small businesses. Creators building something from nothing.

Social Photography is here to support it all.

Whether you’re putting on a gig, launching a project, promoting yourself, hosting an event, or just need strong visuals that represent who you are — we show up properly. We don’t just take photos. We document moments, build presence, and help you look like you mean business.

From sweaty grassroots venues to personal branding shoots, we believe creative people deserve professional images — without the ego, without the nonsense.

If you’ve got something happening and you need it captured properly…

Get in touch.

Let’s build something that lasts.

Last night one of our Social Photography members was in the middle of the action at

Live performances from Crying in Colour, Elephants With Shotguns and Dead Leaves brought serious energy — loud, raw and completely electric from start to finish.

Moments like this are exactly why Social Photography exists.
Supporting local venues. Championing live music. Giving photographers opportunities to shoot real events while helping grassroots artists and communities grow.

Photography isn’t always studios and perfect lighting… sometimes it’s dark rooms, fast movement and capturing the feeling of a night that won’t happen the same way twice.

If you want to shoot gigs, meet creatives and support your local scene — come and join us.

Merry Christmas from Social Photography.

Thank you for being part of this community — for showing up, sharing your work, supporting others, and helping make photography feel welcoming and human. Whether you’ve joined a photowalk, a workshop, a meet-up, or simply followed along online, you’re part of what makes this special.

Enjoy the break, take a few photos just for you, and we’ll see you in the new year with more walks, more learning, and more great conversations around cameras and creativity.

Wishing you a warm, peaceful Christmas and a brilliant year ahead.
