What a lovely way to start the day after getting a message from Fearless Family Photographers in my inbox this morning to tell me I've won a Fearless Award in their photo competition. Happy days!

So delighted for the family too. The candid photo is of Jake and Mollie and their little boy making a cake together. Just look at dad's face as he gently reaches for his son to taste the cake mix 😆 Doesn't every parent have that same thought when we're baking with our children☺️

I originally met Jake and Mollie when they booked me to photograph their Cambridge wedding in 2019, and I took their engagement photos as well as their gorgeous wedding. It does feel like I've been a part of observing their life journey unfold; capturing their special memories for them. It's a lovely reminder for why I do what I do, as a family photographer, seeing the importance of these emotional connections and getting to preserve them in photos, so they serve as a visual legacy for the family to love and hold onto forever.

Hello there! I somehow blinked and it seemed like January went by in a flash, which summed up pretty much how 2025 felt too. Admittedly, I've been quite quiet here and elsewhere on social media over the past year. It's hard to stay present everywhere with family life calling and running your own business, but I'm still here and photographing clients - families, weddings and brands - so thank you all for sticking around. I have so many beautiful galleries to share with you, but am suffering a bit of decidophobia on what to choose meaning I've not posted or blogged in a while.

In the meantime, I'm proud to announce that I am one of the 120 international photographers that is currently featured in the Shutter Hub Open 2026 Exhibition at Cambridge University.

It runs until 2 April 2026 and more information can be found here.

Shutter Hub has transformed Cambridge University’s ARB building with its OPEN 2026 exhibition , which recently opened last month. And as one of the 120 international photographers featured in the exhibition, I got to attend the opening event a couple weeks ago, where I was able to enjoy hundreds o...

Happy Valentine's Day! Remember to show love to the people who matters the most - not just your romantic partners ;)

Family life moves quickly and it’s easy for the day-to-day moments that carry the most meaning to slip by unnoticed. Capturing the love language of your family in photos is important because it reflects the unique ways you connect and express love in the simplest, most genuine ways. Photographing

A moment of unscripted joy during Julia and Henry’s wedding. One of many delightful moments from their magical day which included some customary Chinese games and tea ceremony.

More photos to follow. Meanwhile, thank you to all the Fearless Award judges for giving this photograph a award.

Today is Old Marylebone Town Hall's 100th birthday and to celebrate they're hosting one hundred back-to-back ceremonies. Apparently, they're down to the final ten!

I've not been out shooting today, just so you know ;) but I thought it would be fun to share this sweet couple's wedding that I did capture at the historic venue in London.

Tim and Hana’s wedding was a celebration of two cultures coming together, as the British and British Pakistani couple got married in front of their families, in a civil registry wedding at the historic Old Marylebone Town Hall in London. This was shortly followed with a garden party at Tim’s fam...

When Me Becomes We.

I don’t know if I ever mentioned this but when Molly first got in touch with me to photograph their wedding, I was still in the early years of running my own photography business and finding my way in the industry. That was back in 2019, and flash forward to 2024 (with a pandemic behind us), I can only begin to understand and appreciate what longevity in business actually means…no…I don’t mean counting the number of years I’ve been going for. It's watching the relationships that grow and expand over the intervening years. Being privileged to witness and document the love and connection in the lives of my couples and families is something I never take for granted. The first meeting is only the beginning of a collaboration, but what follows is a partnership; a chance to learn and gain insight. Thankful to each and everyone who I have met and trusted me to make pictures of you as you really are.

In their words:
“We’re so happy with the whole experience - it was a really fun morning and the pictures are so special, so thank you!”
